If you have watched educational videos about Cantonese language and culture on YouTube before, you probably have come across content produced by Brittany Chan (@cantobritt) and Jade Wu (@InspirLang). In this talk, they will share their journey of becoming online content creators as well as their opinions on language learning through creative media.
如果曾經在 YouTube 上觀看過有關粵語語言和文化的教育視頻，你可能已經接觸過陳明敏 (@cantobritt) 及伍嘉瑩 (@InspirLang) 的教學內容。 在這次演講中，兩位講者將分享成為網絡媒體創作人之經歷，以及對通過創意媒體學習語言之觀點。

Brittany Chan 陳明敏

Brittany Chan is a social media content creator exploring her heritage language (Cantonese) and culture through the lens of a second-generation Hong Kong Canadian girl.

陳明敏為社交媒體內容創作人，從其加拿大二代華裔視角探索母語（廣東話）及文化。

Jade Wu 伍嘉瑩

Jade Jia Ying Wu received her TCSOL (Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) from Teachers College, Columbia University and Beijing Language and Culture University in 2016. She is the author of four language learning books, Learn to Speak Cantonese 1, Learn to Speak Cantonese 2, Learn to Speak Mandarin 1, and Learn to Speak Taishanese 1. A former math instructor at the City University of New York, she also hosts a few multilingual podcasts such as “Cantonese Diaspora,” “Learn Cantonese Daily,” and “Learn Taishanese Daily“.

伍嘉瑩於 2016 年獲得哥倫比亞大學師範學院及北京語言大學漢語國際教育學位，曾出版四本語言教學書籍，如《學說廣東話 1》、《學說廣東話 2》、《學說普通話 1》、《學說台山話 1》。此外，她曾任紐約市立大學數學教師，並主持多語言播客節目，如《粵語流散》、《每天學粵語》、《每天學台山話》。
